Vegetable Side Dishes

Most of us are not eating the recommended number of servings of fruit and veggies we need.  Generally, people who seek my advice for nutritional counseling understand that they need to eat fruit and vegetables to be healthy, however they still find that they don’t know what to cook.  I teach people how to make wise food and recipe choices for themselves, but I still get the proverbial question, “well, what do you make?”  The problem is not that people are not aware of the health benefits of produce, but that they don’t know how to cook them.  Studies suggest that more people would eat their veggies if they knew how to prepare them other than just steaming them.  Here are some delicious ways to cook veggies.  It is not just me (a health crazy trainer) that thinks these taste good; my clients, friends and family also agree.
